LMC is Canada's largest independent diabetes research facility.

Dr. Hasnain Khandwala MB, BS, FRCPC
Dr. Hasnain Khandwala received certification in Internal Medicine & Endocrinology by the Royal College of Physicians and is a Diplomate of the American Boards of Internal Medicine, Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Dr. Khandwala completed his training at the Baylor College of Medicine and the M.D Anderson Cancer Centre in Houston, Texas. Before joining the LMC Endocrinology Centres, Dr. Khandwala served as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan.
Dr. Khandwala has a keen interest in teaching and Continuing Health Education. He has delivered over 100 seminars for family physicians and allied health professionals. His areas of interest include diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular risk factor modification, osteoporosis, lipid and thyroid disorders.
